Summary:
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role works closely with maintenance, production, engineering, and warehouse teams to optimize resources, minimize downtime, and improve maintenance performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage preventive, predictive & corrective work orders, ensures all activities are documented & monitors maintenance KPIS. Duties include but are not limited to the following as other duties may be assigned:
- Create and print PM’s.
- Schedule PMs based on maintenance assignment.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are documented & updated in SAP.
- Verify/audit PM’s as required by department manager.
- Maintain master data updated in SAP.
- Data entry for various uses in SAP.
- SAP reporting as required by department and management team.
- Create & close work orders in system in the correct time frame.
- Review work order feedback & create follow up actions in SAP.
- Maintain downtime track.
- Order non-stock (special orders) items at the request of maintenance management.
- This is a safety sensitive position.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be excel & power point skilled.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
